My name is Megan Fish and I am a self-taught artist specializing in landscape paintings residing in Listowel, ON. My preferred choice of medium is acrylic paint, using many layers and vibrant colors the painting comes to life! 

Throughout my travels and observations, I could see that my inspiration comes from nature! I began to paint using my own photographs to capture my travels and display the paintings around my home to bring me back to a place of peace and joy. My goal is to inspire beautiful memories and capture this within the painting.  

As I created, I could see how this was of great benefit to my mental well-being and had to share this with others! I believe art is a therapy & whether we feel like a creative person or not, I know that expressing ourselves through art is a beautiful process to enjoy and share!  

In the past, I was a shy artist when I ventured out of my comfort zone in 2018 to start my journey as an art teacher. I started to teach painting classes locally offering private lessons and special events publicly. I am so grateful I did because I could see that art adds value to the community and people's overall lives! Art is so beneficial for our body, mind and soul allowing for expression of emotions or ideas!  My goal is to bring more art within the community and surrounding areas!
